Makeover Monday

Morning Friends.
Welcome to my little Makeover Monday.
My friend Kathy has chalk paint fever.
For awhile now.
So I finally gave in and decided to give it a try.
Ya know I love to paint.
(I've painted five rooms this Spring)
A year or so ago I found this dresser on Craigslist for 25.00.

It was a bit dated and just a little blah.
Not any more...
I've now painted it duck egg blue added one of my family quilts and placed some dishes inside.
I now have a very useful buffet.
Would you say its prairie farmhouse, shabby chic or french country?
I call it perfectly wonderful for a total of 70.00.
Oh happy day!

Father above I thank you for another brand new day.
The sun is peeking out, the birds are singing and  my veggies are growing.
Help us to keep our eyes on You, shake off the crud and appreciate each new day.

Woolie Love & Joy

He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others.
When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
2 Corinthians 1:4

Thank you for stopping by and being such
 dear friends.

Oh that turned out really pretty Trace. :)

You know, your words on comfort, well, just this morning I was wrapping a friend in prayer and comfort online, and was outright rejected. Boy, talk about disheartening.

Morning Chickie Pal - I'm loving the new look of your dresser. I think it is probably in the prairie farmhouse style I have seen in the new magazine by that name.
I may just have to try the chalk paint when I redo the upstairs guest room.
Wrapping you in prayer dear. Hope you have a blessed week ahead.

Nice! Did you enjoy the process? I like painting, but hate the waxing part. It's a necessary evil, though. What will you paint next? :-)
