Lil Joy

My lil green bowl runneth over with sweet strawberry joy.
Fresh from my lil strawberry patch.
Now to keep my clucky ole hen Irene out.
She likes fresh berries too.
Good thing she doesn't know where I keep the cream. :0)

So jealous! Nothing much growing for food here. Spring was very, very late in coming!

Yum! Sadly...only two of my strawberry plants survived the winter. It was so harsh here..I also lost one large bush and most of my English ivy died back too. Enjoy those sweet berries. Hugs Chickie Pal.

Ah, yummy! Can't wait until our strawberries are producing - should be another month by the looks of things!

There's nothing sweeter than fresh picked berries. I may go check the blackberry patch we found on our hikes today. I wonder if they are ripe! Enjoy your day sweet friend! Hugs!

Your strawberries look wonderful. I don't have a hen Irene but the robins think mine belong to them. It is so rainy today, I hope I can pick tomorrow. Loved your Wednesday post too!
