Seeking....

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Thank you to all my dear friends who have emailed, messaged and prayed for me.
I surely could feel the prayers.
I have missed you too.
I have been in a major funk.
No happy here.
So I am pulling on my boots, shakin the cruddy funk and seeking His strength and joy.
Truth be told I plain just can't carry it all anymore.

Hey I am no super Granny.
But..maybe a cape would help. :0)
Made of pink calicos, woolie bits and
purty buttons.
Everything is better with buttons.
Right?
As I begin this new little journey I'm gonna be posting some small joys and
things I am grateful for.
After all a grateful heart is very good medicine.
Seeking and choosing His Joy again and again..

Woolie Love

Just have to add my voice to the glad to see you back. That scripture is one of my favorite along with Proverbs 3:5-7 "Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord and depart from evil."

Thoughts and prayers being sent your way.

Oh Chickie Pal - I'm still praying for you dear and will continue to do so. Noone can carry all the burdens in life...How important it is to Seek the Lord and His Strength!
So glad you are going to try to shake that funky dust off. Take some comfort in knowing that we all have had our dark moments.
Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

I've been thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers my sweet friend. I sure miss your singing and scriptures each day. I've gone through some really hard times in my life and always came to the point where the burden was too much for me, and I prayed that God would lift it and carry it for me. Things work out...one way or the other...but carrying the burden and worry can be devastating to you. He'll lift it my friend. Sweet hugs, Diane

At work I had a scripture verse magnet that a dear friend gave me on my keyboard, that kept me from flying off into no-belief, no-relief land, which said, " The Joy of the Lord is my Strength" It always made me a tiny bit stronger. I know you have the Joy of the Lord in you...but sometimes we just bury it under our worries, fears, unbeliefs. May it come to the surface once again for you! Big Hugs!
