My weekend was very good.
How about yours?
Friday I packed a overnight bag and headed to my
childhood friend's house in
The ride was beautiful.
Lots of traffic but I didn't mind.
I was on a little Fall adventure of fun.
Kathy and I shopped and laughed alot.
Above is some of the treasures I found.
We went to Barn tag sales, antique and thrift shops.
Her sweet town closes down the first Friday of the month and
has a street festival.
(It is called first Friday)
I met some of her friends and local merchants.
Kelly Ann from Kelly Ann's Quilt Shop was one.
(or was her name Minion?)
They made scarecrows and hung them on the lamp posts.
Music and fun was everywhere.
I can so see why Kathy loves her wonderful town.
(Kelly Ann's had wool too)
What my friend did not tell me is that it was her husband's birthday.
Ugh.. Sorry Mike!
I did feel bad to crash his Birthday, but we went to a very good Mexican restaurant.
We had alot of fun too.
He didn't seem to mind.
I think he liked some of my chicken tales.
He said I was welcome anytime.
He may wish he didn't one day as I too love their sweet town.
Thanks Kathy and Mike.
I had a wonderful time.
We are blessed with many gifts, but how treasured are our friendships.
New and especially the old.
I am blessed with so many sweet friends.
I am grateful.
Text, email or call a old friend and say hey.
Woolie Joy in Him
A friend loves at all times.
