Today would have been my Gram's birthday.
I know she is smiling when she looks down at my window sill.
All of my african violets have blooms.
I still have a violet that was hers.
So many parts of me my Gram helped mold and grow.
Especially my faith and trust in God.
( I make a mean apple pie from scratch thanks to my Gram)
Boy would my Gram be tickled to see these heirloom beauties
on my window sill.
She loved to garden.
I can still remember her up her hill pulling weeds, picking
veggies and talking with the Big Guy.
My Gram had so much love for the Lord and all people.
She truly had the gift of hospitality.
Happy Birthday Gram.
My cup runneth over with love for you.
Plant the seed of faith in your heart and all good
things will grow.
