Morning Friends.
Spring time is on the way.
So its time for Spring cleaning.
I moved all my chickens from my brown crate
and put them in my hutch.
I promised Papa John to keep all chickens in one area.
Since they've been multiplying and my chicken hoarder kicked in.
So I moved them all into my favorite room.
Its the breakfast/dining room.
I like to call it the Gathering room, because this is where we Gather to eat pie.
(I'm craving pie and yes any flavor will do, but cherry.
I don't like cherries in my food they remind me of eating a ..
o.k I wont go there.)
its a bug
Anyhooo back to my chicks.
I can be chickie pickie.
I really do prefer OLD, but I do have some sweet new ones too.
Thrift stores and flea markets are where I find the best prices.
I have many that are gifts from sweet friends.
Heck I got chicken fever.
My new chicken lamp.
I found this little purty the first day on my trip.
I forgot to share with you.
It was my big purchase of the weekend.
He is a handsome fella don't ya think?
I love little lights tucked in places.

Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.
Instead they put it on a stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way,let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

I love lights tucked here and there! Your chicken one rocks! Well, all of your chickies are so sweet. I love your gathering area. I would sit there for pie (glad no cherry. Bleh!)
Oh, and the cherries. I hear ya! I think I know what you were going to say. If not, I got my own in my head... When I was young, my mom and grandmom would make special cherry parfaits for Christmas. A layer of special pudding and then a layer of cherries. I always got a special one. It had the pie filling stuff with all of the cherries taken out. It was always there in the frig marked "Heather". Thank you for bringing to mind a sweet memory to start to the day!
