Chicken Love

Morning Friends.
I've been packing up my Christmas and tweaking a few things.
When I stained my tool box for my Christmas greens I also stained this big old box.
It too has new life because of a old can of stain I found when Papa John was cleaning out the garage.
Paint and stain are wonderful to make the old new again.
I think it is a perfect prim nesting box for all my chickens.
(a few special turkeys too)
Chicken love from family and friends.
I am blessed.
The quilt is made out of old feed sacks.
It was my Ne's first quilt.
She shared this awesome treasure with me.
It is now truly one of my very favorite things.

Woolie Chicken Love & JOY

100 Day Prayer Journal
by Lori Ramsey

Day 8
If you love me,keep my commands.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another
advocate to help you and be with you forever-the Spirit of truth.
John 14:15-17

How wonderful it is when I am feeling my loneliest I can call out to God.
We are truly never alone.
We have the big GUY and our Friends!
I am thankful.

Hi Trace, I love the wooden box you stained and it sure is a great place for your chickens and the few turkeys you have in there. I love how you displayed the beautiful box on top of the I would call it a half of pie safe. It is SO BEAUTIFUL, the wood and the tin, I am drooling.

I love the Ne's first quilt made out of feed sacks, it is awesome and looks wonderful on your ladder.
I love the John 14:15-17 and I opened my Bible that is next to me because you are doing this wonderful prayer journal.
I think the Lord did answer my prayer's in one way and that is through you to do the 100 day prayer journal and not letting me lose my Faith!!!!!
Praise the Lord, in his name. Amen
Hugs
Tricia

Hi Trace! Is the rooster in the back, 4th from left a planter? (In the last picture) I do believe I have that exact one. It was my maternal grandmother's. I keep a dark red violet planted in it. =)

Oh my goodness, I love your chicken collection!!! Maybe that's what I should do,rather than trying to get real chickens and a determined German Shepherd to co-exist. lol

Ooooh, I love it Trace :) I love chickens too. Had me a little brood once, but a pack of dogs got them. We even had a coop for them. Made me sooo sad. Maybe again one day. May I ask what kind and color of stain that is?

Hugs~Carol
