Home is where the hearth is.

The hearth am I ..the deep heart of the dwelling.
A pleasant nook for ease and storytelling,
Where friendship's flame shall find a glad renewal
While mirth and kindly chat supply the fuel.

Of household fires gleam warm and bright.

Morning Friends.
I am wishing I had that fire right now.
We are almost out of wood.
I've been waiting all week for a delivery and know one
has shown.
So I called a new wood guy.
My fingers crossed he shows today.
We try and heat with wood all winter.
Sometimes we have a frosty toilet seat but way better than the crazy propane bill.

Day 5
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in
Him we might
become the righteousness of God!
How truly thankful I am for His forgiveness over and over again.

Hope you get your wood!
At least your seat is indoors. Imagine how those pioneer chicken ladies had to use theirs outside! BBBrrrrrrr!
Have a great weekend!
The prayer journals are so good to read to start your day. I am caught up now and will follow them the rest of the time. I love your throw and that scarf, actually anything you make. And I hope you get your wood today, there is nothing like the warmth of a wood fire to heat. I am warm by MichCon gas and a little Duraflame here in the city. But thankful to be warm by any means. Love from Michigan.

A wood fire smells so good to me. Sadly, we have gas logs here and it is too expensive to turn them on! Hope your new guy shows up promptly. Have a nice, snug weekend.

Kudos to you n Papa John for heating with wood!! Takes you back to a simplier time!! I love anything that goes in that direction. You have the head and heart that way Trace' it goes right along with your values. I went to a Spiritual Listening Day today. It was in a Free Methodist old log chapel at their campgrounds. Long day for me came home and went to sleep but so very spiritual and fulfilling. Thanks for sharing again today. Yes I am so thankful for forgiveness too. And Thank HIM for doing it over n over again!! And for the fact that we must do it over n over!! I LOVE do-overs!! XOXO Love Fran.
Love the warmth of a wood fire. I have a friend who only heats with and wood and her home has been featured in several publications. There is nothing like backing up to a warm fire. Wish I had one. Saw some pretty woolie apples today and I thought of you.
Awwww, dear, cold Granny. I love the poems very much. I will think of those in front of my fake fireplace. I hope by this point you are warm...
Peace and joy, dear friend!
Love,
Heather
