Good Stitchin Day!
Guess what it snowed and snowed.
Yes I was doing the happy dance.
The chickens however don't like it and were hiding up on my porch.
shooooo....
The creek was covered in beautiful sparkly white.
This is where I watched the snow fall from this window in my kitchen.
It was just beautiful.
And these turkey kids rather stay in and play games then go outside and play.
HELLO!! Remember snow angels?
How perfectly wonderful. I could sit here with a hot cup of coffee all day.
In the meadow we could build a snowman..
And we can call Her Piper Brown! Now she too loves the snow.
I just LOVE my big brown woolie moo cow dog!
Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!
Wolfie the great hunter would much rather chill up on the dresser and stay warm by the fire.
Then play out in the snow too.
Well friends the snow is beautiful and the WEATHERMAN says a bit more tomorrow night!
I am off to mop my floors and visit a friend. Then its total chick stitchin day!
I am down to only three woolie chicks. And I want a big basket full of chicks by Saturday.
Hopefully I will have a basket full to share with you Saturday.
Wishing you Woolie Love, Joyful Stitches and Snowflakes
Be still and know that I am God
Psalm 46:10

I am singing with you Trace ... "LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW!!!" Our talcum powder snow melted almost as quickly as it came but it was nice to see a little bit of the white stuff for a little while. And what in the name of all things holy is wrong with kids now-a-days when they would rather stay inside & play games than go outside to play in the snow?!?!? Heavens to Betsy, I can remember getting up in the morning when I was a child, seeing it had snowed overnight, & bugging my mother right away that I wanted to go outside! Us neighborhood kids would build snowmen & slide down a hill on our sleds & have the grandest time! I remember almost having to be roped & tied & dragged back into the house when it was time to go back inside. The way I remember it, I would be out there for hours ... covered in so much snow that it stuck to my clothes & my mittens & hat would be wet ... but I don't ever remember feeling cold. Snow is magical! Snow, as I always say, is nature's Prozac. Wish I could be visiting you today! Thanks for sharing all the wonderful pictures! Blessings, Shirlee
ReplyDeleteHi Trace, Your pictures of the snow are beautiful. I can't believe it has not been a snowy winter at all. Last winter, we live in the country and we got over 80 inches of snow.
ReplyDeleteIt is cold here this week and the weekend is going to be very cold but they are also saying this coming Monday and Tuesday is going to be 7 degrees going out in the morning with a high of 20 degrees for the day.
Thank the Lord we have a wood stove and LOTS of wood that we order every year.
When we build our home in 7 yrs. in Tennessee we will have 2 fire place one in the kitchen and one in the great room. We can't wait to live the simple life in the mountains!
Have a blessed day.
Hugs,
Tricia

ReplyDeleteThe snow looks so pretty Trace - we haven't had much at all. I think we could use at least one Noreaster before Spring comes - it adds a little fun and excitement to our lives.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day dear.
Blessings
Trace, Why did you not invite your southern Sister up for the snowfall? You sure know how to bust a girl's bubble. We are suppose to get colder (for us in the south) temps this weekend and I was just thrilled for that, and here you go showing that beautiful whilte stuff. Guess I will just have to dream I am looking out that kitchen window with you. Love the pictures, so beautiufl and serene. Enjoy your day stitching. Stay warm.
