Woolie Wednesday

 Wonderful Woolie Wednesday To You!
The Snowmen are stitched on.
So many said do what makes me happy.
Well they really make me smile and happy.
It is a winter quilt. Some of the fabric has snowmen on it.
So they are a perfect.
And hey I wanna make another for spring and summer anyway.
Hopefully these Woolie lil Fellows bring me some real snow soon.
Jen and I have been doing the" Let it Snow dance" so ya just don't know.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

  1. Your winter quilt with the three snowmen it came out FABULOUS!

It would be nice to have some snow. We had 81 inches here in Hopkinton,Mass a small country town and the only snow and ice we had was in October and trees down everywhere and we lost power for 5 days but we had our woodstove , so we were set!
We sure did live the 1800's, oil laterns that Mr. Hillcrest collects came in handy for sure!!
I did alot of cleaning durning the day and reading and at night our youngest did his homework by the laterns and I did alot of knitting and Hubby listened to the small radio we have.
LET IT SNOW just a couple of inches would be wonderful!
    Have a blessed day,
    Tricia

  5. Good morning Trace. I am so happy to see the snowmen on your quilt. Looks nice. Now you can start on one for spring. I am still trying to get mine quilted. I didn't have a very productive weekend with unexpected company on Saturday, that really brought me down and took all my energy.
Can't wait to see your next lap quilt.

  10. How Beautiful Trace. I Love it!
We are expecting a snow storm starting tonight here in Wisconsin.8 inches predicted. Sometimes, those weather men can be wrong and we don't get much. I don't mind the snow, I just don't like it on the roads when I have to drive to work. Last winter I drove through 5 snow storms. What usually takes me 15 min to get to work, took me an hour to get home, mind you, I get done a 10 p.m. And we always have a snowstorm when I work, never when I'm off, Lol! And guess what? I work tonight, Lol! Oh, well!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Well I gotta take my daughter Brooke to an appointment so I guess I better get off the computer!! LOL The sun is shining here but the talk of town is we're getting rain tonight and snow starting tomorrow. So maybe PA will get some too!! Love ya, XO Fran.

  12. Well your snow dance worked for Wisconsin anyway...as Sandi said, we are suppose to get 8 inches here.. It will be a huge change considering we have had temps in the upper 40's low 50's the past few days. I plan on getting out and getting a walk in before we don't have this anymore!! I work tonight...then am off four days...so let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I love the snowmen on the quilt. They do make a girl smile!! katie

  17. Glad you chose to add the snowmen Trace. Looks great. If it snowed as hard as it has rained on us today, there would be a blizzard !! Suppose to be turning cold though, will take that if we can't have snow.

  18. Wow, this turned out great! Love how you placed the snowheads. We haven't had snow here this year - which is odd, usually banks over our heads - but they are calling for 7 inches Friday. Hope you get some too! ~*~Lisa
