Happy Friday Friends!
It has been colder this week in Pa.
And what a perfect time for something warm for your belly.
So here is my white chicken chili .
You are sure to enJOY!
White Chicken Chili
1 or 2 lbs of chicken ( I boiled a whole roaster)
1 onion chopped
14 oz can chicken broth
3 15 oz cans great northern beans
2 4oz chopped green chile's
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp chives
16 oz container sour cream
1 pint whipping cream
(Frito's & Shredded cheese for the top.)
Combine broth, beans, onions, chile's and seasonings in large soup pot over med heat. Bring to a boil add chicken, reduce heat and simmer a while. (about 30mins) Then add sour cream and whipping cream. Mix well.
Top with corn chips and cheese..So yummm..
I just put in crock pot when its done to keep it warm and heat up the next day and not worry about it burning when I reheat..Enjoy!!
Friends are such a blessing to me.
I received a sweet encouragement from Linda Claus in the mail yesterday.
Along with a sweet note that just touched my heart.
I just love anything Linda stitches.
Love in every stitch.
Thank you Friend.
What a treasure Linda is here in blog land to us all.
Singing and dancing...
I've got the JOY JOY JOY down in my heart to stay!!

the Frito's on top! I'll have to save this for
my Bubba cuz my doctor has me on this typeII diabetic diet. He can have all he wants of your chili and I will have the chicken broiled with a big salad and some brown rice (ughh...)
