These are a few Thiftin Treasures I found last week.
The plates cost me .59 each and the
hand painted tray .99 cents.
The plates are stamped USA too.
I spent alittle over 6.00 for some new treasures.

Oh what a good Thriftin Day!
I just love how this looks tucked in behind my cook top.

I've gained some weight during the holidays.
Big surprise since my meal plan included cookies, pie and cake.
Big surprise since my meal plan included cookies, pie and cake.
Not a good thing.
Knee pain. Ugh!
But now its time to act like a big girl and get rid of it.
Sooo. This Granny Girl is off the sugar. Today is only day two.
And I sure want a cookie...But
No sugar until February 10th.
I CAN DO IT!
I guess I will need to start dancing with the chickens and not just singing.
I've got the JOY JOY down in my heart.
Even without a cookie.
I think I will try and stitch instead.

Wishing You
WOOLIE LOVE & OOODLES of JOY!

Kicking the sugar habit is difficult but it CAN be done. Take it from me ... I was born a sugar junkie & if I can stop eating it then so can you : ) Great thrift finds! I think it would be fun going through your house & seeing all your old treasures : ) Blessings, Shirlee

ReplyDeleteGood morning Trace. Love the plates, very nice. Red and blue are my favorite colors. I love dishes and metal trays and I have a tray just like that one.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you have to cut down on the sweets.
We have had our share of sweets at work during the holidays. Can't stay away from the peanut butter fudge. Yummo! Can't wait to see your fabric stash.
Enjoy your day
