Simple Sunday

 Oh how I love Jesus
Oh how I love Jesus
Oh how I love Jesus
Because He first loved me...

That was one of my very favorite songs we sang in Sunday School.
I now sing it to my Granny Boy. He now sings along.
And claps for me every time.

Yesterday I made this simple little doll.
I have been seeing these little prairie/church dolls everywhere.
I thought hey I could make one of those. Very easy and made with scraps of fabric I already have.
So here is my Sunday Doll.

Wishing you a Sunday filled with LOVE & JOY!

Love from a pure heart..and from sincere faith.

  10. I love your song...and I love your little doll. I have always loved dolls..from little girl on. We didn't have a lot of money when we grew up. However my Mom always made sure we had some type of doll for Christmas. She loved Madame Alexander dolls. I will never forget the blue flowered boxes, pink tissue paper and smell of new vinyl!! Another special time...she had bought me Francie..barbies younger sister...and had a case of clothes in one of her barbie suitcases hanging on my bed for me as a little girl. Ohh and paper dolls. She'd cut them out of cardboard and make clothes. Then she'd stick them under our pillows for us to wake up to in the morning! Yep...I still LOVE dolls, lol!!! katie

  11. Happy Sunday to you to Trace. Love the prairie doll you made, very prim. One made with a wool dress would be nice also, maybe a red one?
    Enjoy your afternoon

  13. Good Monday morning Trace, I've been a bad girl and didn't comment on this on Sunday. But I had Darbee Rae come over after service and spend the afternoon with me. You know us girls had to catch up on Nana being gone so long. You should be so proud of this non movie watcher. We watched "Annie" and Darbee Rae loved it. Then it was off to the kitchen where she and I made ranch wings to have for supper after night services. So.. guess I have a good excuse for commenting a day late, huh? Love the beautiful Spring flowers. And a great job on the church doll. Love them. Hope you are having a great day. Off to catch up on my blog readings.
