Morning Friends!
I stitched all day yesterday.
While these little bunnies were hoping all over my table.
It drizzled all day and made for a very cozy stitching day.
I brought in a TV to my big table and was taken away to Green Gables.
How wonderful it is to hop into another world every once in awhile.
And I can think of no better place then Green Gables.
Especially with Anne with a "E".
My girlfriend and I are thinking of fancy secret names for each other.
Anne wanted to be Cordelia.
If you could have a new name what would it be ?
At lunch time I took a break and ran to the Thrift Store.
And lookie lookie what I found . A old box of Clark's Thread.
My simple JOY of the week. (thread included)
I also picked up a few tea cups and pitchers for some bunnies and chicks.
I just love Thursdays.

Good morning Trace! Those bunnies hopping around your house are going to be a lot quieter than those chicks peep-peep-peeping : ) Congrats on finding more wonderful finds at the thrift store! I need to take my laptop to our local thrift store & show them the wonderful things you find at yours. Maybe it will shame them into getting in some wonderful things for me to find : ) Oh, I love Anne of Green Gables! I haven't seen that for a long time. Maybe I'll ask John if he can find it in his DVD cave. Another one I love to watch but haven't seen in a long time is Sarah Plain & Tall. I'll ask him to find that one too : ) If I could have another name I would want something Polish or Russian to correspond with my heritage. I've always liked Sophie too which is why Sophie (our cat) is named Sophie : ) I'm rambling again! Have a wonderful day dear friend! Blessings, Shirlee

ReplyDeleteI LOVE those bunnies Trace! I had a great great aunt "Electra"...in 9th grade French class I was "Estelle". I love escaping too. I wonder where that old thread came from? Did a grandma pass on and her family was cleaning out her sewing room? Hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~*~Lisa
ReplyDeleteYour bunnies are adorable. I love to read old diaries of females who lived in the 1700's and 1800's. I can really get lost reading those and 'transporting' myself to their time.
ReplyDeleteThe Clark thread box is indeed a real find.
I don't have another name...
Hugs,
Susan
