Garden Deck Party

Good Morning Friends.

A beautiful breeze is blowing in my windows.

And I was thinking its a very good day for a

 garden deck party.

I will be planting out there today.

Won't you all come and bring a flower or treat to share.

Hugs and laughter will be served.

I will make lemonade tea with strawberries, watermelon slices

 and shortbread cookies.

We will be planting geraniums, petunias, coleus and 

sunflower seeds.

What flowers are you planting?

Don't forget your garden hats.

Mine will have a big sunflower on it.

Come and share a pot of tea

my home (deck) is warm and my friendship is free.

I just loved the oranges of the sun coming up.

Beautiful.

How great are the gifts He gives?

 these things.

Things sneak in and steal our joy.

Why are you downcast,O my soul?

Why so disturbed within me?

Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him,

 my Savior and my God.

Thankful for orange sun rises and His Joy we can choose

 in any circumstance.

Even on the cruddiest of days.

His Love is bigger.

Good Saturday Friends.

So many things I want to do today.

Some spiritual food, stitching and time in the garden.

I think its time to put some tomatoes in the ground.

Fingers crossed no more frost.

I shall sing and skip around my garden three times with a 

chick in my pocket.

(just teasin :) hehe

Last week I started washing windows and putting up my 

summer curtains.

And in the middle what should I stop and do ?

I grab a stack of quilt squares and make a new runner for my dresser.

Like I didn't have a mess as it was.

So hopefully today I will finish it.

Maybe a little Sense and Sensibility too.

Oh I need more hours in a day.

Good thing I got up at 4:30.

With busy hands and a happy heart..

I wish you a weekend filled with His love.

I Meant To Work Today

journal entry.

In my overalls and new kicks.

My hens are just gonna love.

I am reading a new book, "Carrots love Tomatoes".

For years I planted my peppers with my tomatoes.

Not this year .

I will be planting carrots with my tomatoes.

You learn something new everyday.

I just thinned these and they are really taking off.
